Our Treasure in Jesus

God, we love you! As your Church help us do what it takes to let the people of Tunisia grasp the Good News that Jesus responded with compassion to persistent faith! (Matthew 15:28)

Pray for a Tunisian Believer

M is 34 years old, has 2 children, and is divorced. Pray that God will help her to raise her children to know Him. Pray that, as she shares the good news with her parents, they will understand the treasure found in Christ. M’s neighbors are tormented by evil spirits and she has prayed with them for freedom, yet they are still tormented. Pray with M that her neighbors will be free from demons and will serve Jesus as their Lord and Master.

Prayer for Boldness

“he says: “It is too light a thing that you should be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob and to bring back the preserved of Israel; I will make you as a light for the nations, that my salvation may reach to the end of the earth.”” (Isaiah 49:6 ESV).

Holy Spirit, come and do the work that only you can do in the church in Tunisia. Ignite them with passion for the glory and the name of Jesus that burns so brightly that it cannot help but be witnessed and shared in every corner of Tunisia and to the ends of the earth. (Isaiah 49:6).

Pray for a Segment of Society

Those choosing a homosexual lifestyle It was so clear to the Christian woman who sat listening to her friend in the cluttered kitchen… the horrifying episode of abuse, the self-loathing and self-harm, withdrawing from his anxious family… “I think he might be… you know…” Even though Baya was a more liberal, open-minded Muslim, she could barely formulate the word “homosexual” to describe her adolescent nephew. The potential shame such an admission could rain down upon the family was forefront in her mind. Though the dark side of the homosexual subculture has been concealed for time immemorial in the Islamic world, there is a slow but growing movement towards bringing the conversation into the mainstream. Social media has been the forerunner on pushing the envelope on this in recent years… Facebook support groups, individuals publicly identifying as homosexual—it’s a new era. Though plenty are jumping in as a fad to be unique, the vast majority, like Baya’s nephew, are victims of catastrophic childhood abuse. Please ask Jesus to bring holistic healing to these dear image-bearers… that they would have a true hope and future.
