God, we love you! As your Church, help us do what it takes to let the people of Tunisia grasp the Good News that Jesus’ message was that He wanted us to follow Him, the greatest man in the history of the universe! (Matthew 9:9)
AH is a 37 year old woman. She came to faith in Christ as she learned about Him on the Internet. When cancer struck, her faith grew even more and she felt God ever-present in her circumstances. She has now survived cancer but is still the only Christian among her family and friends. Pray that she would grow in her ability to talk about her relationship with God and to invite others to learn about Him with her.
“With God we shall do valiantly; it is he who will tread down our foes.” (Psalm 108:13 ESV).
Father God, as your followers in Tunisia look out upon the resources of the enemy arrayed against them, may you grant them fearlessness and confidence in your matchless power. May their hearts learn to answer the attacks of the enemy, saying “with God we shall do valiantly, it is he who will tread down our foes.” (Psalm 108:13).
Islamic Educators- Furha worked hard at everything she did: caring for her six younger siblings, attending to visitors from abroad, finishing her Masters in Islamic Studies program, and, like her name means, she worked hard to be happy—or at least she presented herself that way. This beautiful young woman wouldn’t let any outside of her family or close friend group see her hair and rushed around the city caring for those in need. Furha earnestly sought Allah, and her privileged upbringing in a wealthy home didn’t blind her to the needs of the poor around her. Even though most days she ordered in fine foods from apps on her latest iPhone while her brothers argued about which video game console to use tonight, she saw those who weren’t living her life and wanted to help. A chance to study comparative religions at Oxford was on the horizon and her Christian friend kept challenging her to study the Bible before the move. Recently, her ‘Alhamdullah’ (Praise Allah in all things) mantra wore too thin with all she carries and she broke down sobbing in her friend’s arms. Pray for Furha and others like her—true seekers of Truth—that they will “seek me and find me when they seek me with their whole hearts” (Jer. 23:13).

God, we love you! As your Church, help us do what it takes to let the people of Tunisia grasp the Good News that Jesus knowingly took one step after another toward Jerusalem knowing He would be condemned to death, mocked, flogged, crucified and then be raised on the third day! (Matthew 20:19)
ReadGod, we love you! As your Church, help us do what it takes to let the people of Tunisia grasp the Good News that Jesus' cross was the one place in the world's history in which your Father's justice AND mercy were simultaneously fulfilled as He was marred beyond human semblance, despised, rejected, sorrowful, acquainted with grief, smitten, afflicted, pierced, crushed, chastised, and anguished (Isaiah 52-53) so that WE don't have to be.
